Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Hey Mora is built to keep your data on your device. Room scans, photo analysis, design advice, and voice are all processed locally on your iPhone. The only information that leaves your device is what's needed to sign you in and sync the rooms you save. We do not track you, we do not run ads, and we do not sell your data.

2. Information processed on your device

The following never leaves your iPhone and is not sent to us or anyone else:

  • Room scans & camera data. LiDAR scans and the AR view are processed on-device using Apple's RoomPlan and ARKit.
  • Design advice. Mora's suggestions are generated on-device with Apple's Foundation Models. Your room never gets sent to a cloud model.
  • Photos. When you save a photo of your room with furniture, it is written to your device's photo library only. We never upload it.
  • Voice. If you talk to Mora, speech is transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Audio is not sent to a server.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Account information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. We use this only to create and secure your account. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address.

3.2 Your saved rooms

If you save rooms, we store the content you create so it's available across sessions: room names, dimensions, your stated goals and style preferences, notes, and the suggestions Mora generated for that room. This is linked to your account and used only to provide the app's features.

4. What we do not do

  • We do not track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not serve advertising.
  • We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of providers strictly to run the app:

  • Supabase hosts our database and authentication for account sign-in and room sync.
  • Cloudflare serves the shared 3D furniture models used in AR. These are public assets and involve no personal data.
  • Apple provides Sign in with Apple and the on-device frameworks the app relies on.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and saved rooms until you delete them. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all rooms and suggestions tied to it. You can also request deletion by emailing us.

7. Children

Hey Mora is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
